Hopefully, we will get to know each other and you’ll tell me. Why a Blog on Yarn and Knitting.
For many years, I owned and operated a small yarn shop that stocked only high-end, selective yarn for the most discerning knitter, crocheter and natural fiber lover, including of course, my own hand-dyed yarn. After closing my store, my love for all things yarn didn’t go away. In fact, it appears to have grown!
My purpose now is to express the incredibly creative energy yarn inflicts upon its victims (me and you!) and create a blog discussing ways to channel this energy in the most fun and fascinating manner. This blog will start with knitting patterns and the best kinds of yarn to use for each. I’m working on some videos to show not only the basics but some advanced knitting techniques, plus how to fix goofs and troubleshooting. Together, we’ll explore exceptional books on knitting and wonderful knitting patterns and yarns of all kinds and flavors. Then…. well…we shall see what “Then” will bring.
